Roundup 87: Favorite Dog Articles, Videos & Deals of the Week
I know animals don’t get the best rep when it comes to being great models, but seriously they’re the best. I suppose I’m a little biased because I spend 99% of my time taking photos of Laika, with the other 1% being nature shots and maybe the odd human thrown in. But she’s a darn good model and always in great spirits, it’s hard to beat that attitude.
But enough about my weird love of taking nothing but dog pictures, let’s move onto the good stuff. (dog bloggers I know you’re with me on that by the way) From the awesome relationship positive training provides to a look at what you get with a Dognition test, here’s some of my favorite dog articles of the week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

AnimalBliss wrote a heart touching story about seizures. It truly is something terrible to witness in your pet..
I love their tips at the bottom of the article and especially this one:
“Be proactive. This is a frightening time, but knowledge is power, and you should view yourself as part of your pet’s treatment team. Talk to your vet and/or neurologist and ask questions. They should be open and willing to discuss treatment options and any other concerns you may have.”
It is probably one of the most important things when dealing with seizures in your dog, educating yourself about it, trying to understand it. So ask your vet everything! Get to know this as if you studied it, it will really help you.
This was an interesting dog week and many great and sad headlines were published during the last seven days but one of the most important ones is talking about banning Dog Slaughter in South Korea.. It is time to put and end to this and I am glad things are shifting in the right direction.

Laika is such a beautiful dog and I completely agree that dogs make the best models.
