A New Origin Story for Dogs
Interesting new findings in the story of the domestication of dogs; they may have been domesticated more than once. Using DNA samples from modern dogs scientists found that they were either descended from eastern or western Eurasia. Looking at previous research they found that dogs were likely domesticated in Asia before that split ever happened.
