It’s not so easy is it? I’ve been thinking about costumes for awhile and still have no clue what to choose.
Some of these dogs look miserable and the grapes/balloons are very dangerous for a dog to be around. I know I am supposed to think “aw, cute” but instead I find it sad that people force their dogs to do stuff the dog is clearly not comfortable with. I always keep my dogs costume limits and happiness in mind when choosing what they will dress as, I hope you will and I wish everyone would!
When I’m choosing a costume for Laika I take her comfort into mind – we don’t do anything with a hood/helm/ears. It’s usually just a cape of some kind that won’t drag or get in the way too much. Personally I like pretty simple costumes for my dog since I know she’s not comfortable with anything elaborate.
Yes, it’s that time of year again, isn’t it? Some of these are hilarious! Somehow, I’m way ahead of schedule this year and already have Haley’s costume figured out. I like to keep it pretty simple too. Thanks for sharing these!
